Karen DeValera is the Founder and President of C.E. Nassi Consulting Group, LLC. A native of New York, Karen currently resides in Washington, DC. She is a graduate of the David A. Clarke School of Law at University of the District of Columbia, received a Master's in Clinical Mental Health from Trinity University in Washington, DC, is a Doctoral Candidate at Arizona State University and is a Certified Addiction Counselor, Substance Abuse Professional, Certified Professional Gerontologist, Licensed Professional Counselor and has a Juris Doctorate.

The C.E. Nassi Consulting Group, a DC-based firm east of the river, that specializes in the field of health and mental health, primarily offering counseling, consulting in mental health and mental health assessments, crisis intervention and support, senior mental wellness and addiction. The company uses a person centered approach and specializes in grief and loss, trauma and substance disorders. The company also engages in collaborative efforts with other organizations to promote awareness of health/mental health to communities, businesses and private entities. Recently CE Nassi Consulting was awarded a 6 month mini grant to work with Violence Interrupters in Washington D.C. on the “Whole Street Project” which offered crisis support to interrupters working on the streets of Washington D.C. CE Nassi always works to support Black Communities impacted by racial inequities.
